Missions at the Challenger Learning Center of Las Cruces

There are seven Challenger Learning Center Missions, one per day from March 30 -April 4 (6-8pm), and two on April 13th (11am-1pm and again from 3-5pm). You must register in advance to join a mission. Registration will open soon. Join us for the premiere of the short-film 'We Choose To Go To The Moon'. Artists Tim Fitzpatrick and NMSU Graduate Jeff Erwin, created an art installation at Kilbourne Hole on the anniversary of NASA using the volcanic maar as a training ground for the Apollo missions. Gravity (2013) is a sci-fi thriller starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as two NASA Astronauts stranded in space. Gravity won seven Academy Awards including Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron, who also co-wrote, co-edited and produced the movie. Concessions will be available to purchase at the venue.
